Stuck to the plan, stayed patient and finished well šŖ 7Cairns Marathon Festival
Took 2 mins off my Cape Town Two Oceans time and choosing to ignore the fact the Cape Town half is one of the hilliest in the world and this home town course is totally flat šš¤·āāļøšŖ
Such a great event and love seeing all the local runners out thereā¦ so many of us see each other training hard, itās awesome seeing everyone doing their thing!

I love being around anything sport related but this one was special and once in a lifetime last night ā¤ļø
Watching my very good friends son play NBL in cairns before he gets drafted and heads to NBA next year was sensational!
Iāve witnessed the incredible commitment, drive and the highs and lows that he and his whole family manage to get to this pointā¦. These things never just happen so Iām on a complete high ā¤ļø
Itās heating up in Cairns and Iām feeling the temperature turn up on my runs!!
