Heads up Members!
Please be mindful of unusual traffic coming in and out of the showgrounds area over the next few days.
Event staff are still bumping out from the successful Qld Touch Comp from last weekend but also bumping in for the Rodeo that is happening this coming weekend.
On Saturday July 18th, the ring road between the Redlands Coast Museum and the Tennis car park will be completely closed.

Nationals Write Up - Coach Melanie
The 2026 Australian Gymnastics Championships are over for another year, and what an incredible competition it was for our athletes.
Our National Stream athletes took to the competition floor first, delivering outstanding performances that helped Team Queensland claim the overall Levels Competition title. We couldn't be prouder of their efforts. Congratulations to all of our National Stream athletes, you did your club and State proud.

The excitement continued with the State Team events, where four athletes from each state were selected to compete on each apparatus. Congratulations to Hudson and Bryce, who were selected for the Queensland Men's Trampoline Team and helped bring home the silver medal for Queensland. Trey Morales was also selected for the Queensland Men's Double Mini Trampoline Team, where he helped secure another silver medal for Queensland.
The Championships concluded with the All-Around Competition, where Tyga represented Queensland in Double Mini Trampoline and earned a bronze medal.
Every athlete listed above as well as our other Team QLD members Georgia Struik, Amielle Davidson, Savannah Bell & Aaliyah Rameka you represented Redland City Gymsports and Queensland with pride, determination and sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.
A huge thank you to our incredible coaches, judges, team managers, officials, volunteers and families. Your commitment, encouragement and countless hours behind the scenes make opportunities like this possible, and we are so grateful for everything you do to support our athletes.
Now it's time for a well-earned rest before we do it all again at our next competition State Levels in August.

A fantastic first day for our Team QLD International athletes.
Trey and Tyga brought in the first medal with a bronze in the 17+ Synchro division.
In Under 15 DMT, Jonah has qualified in third position for finals.
In 17+ Trampoline Hudson has qualified in first position for the finals.
