At Rosemore Calisthenics it is our mission to continue the growth of Calisthenics in Queensland Pupils lean between five and six routines throughout the year .
Calisthenics is an artistic sport that combines dancing, gymnastics, ballet and apparatus work. It promotes great team involvement in a fun team orientated environment. The word calisthenics comes from the Greek words “kallos” for beauty and “thenos” for strength. The components and requirements of the sport aim at achieving both of these attributes.
