A great Sunday spent together away from the stables, enjoying some bowling and celebrating what has been a fantastic season for the team.

The success we’ve enjoyed on the track is a true reflection of the hard work, dedication and commitment from everyone behind the scenes. From the early mornings and long days to the care and attention given to every horse, our staff put in an incredible amount of work to ensure the horses are given every opportunity to perform at their best.

It was great to get everyone together, have some fun and celebrate the results we’ve worked so hard for throughout the season. We’re incredibly grateful for the dedication of our whole team and the role each person plays in our continued success.

A well-deserved afternoon of team bonding and plenty of laughs! Here’s to another great season ahead!

Another outstanding Saturday for Brad Widdup Racing, with winners at both Randwick and Kembla Grange.

Satono Jasmine continued her remarkable rise through the grades, making it four consecutive victories with a brilliant win in the Benchmark 78 over 1800m at Royal Randwick. Having progressed from provincial company to midweek success and now Saturday metropolitan grade, the talented mare continues to exceed expectations. Chad Schofield timed his run to perfection, allowing her powerful turn of foot to do the rest.

Later in the day, promising two-year-old Somerford broke through in impressive style at Kembla Grange. Christian Reith gave the filly a patient, confident ride before she let down strongly to score a classy maiden victory, providing another exciting result for the stable.

A huge congratulations to our owners and a special thank you to our incredible trackwork riders, stable staff and ground crew. The dedication and hard work that goes on behind the scenes every day is the foundation of results like these.

Another Hawkesbury season is in the books, and we’re proud to have secured another Trainers’ Premiership. It was the perfect way to close out the season, with a winning double on the final day of racing.

Viva Macao kicked things off in style, showcasing his class with a dominant maiden victory in the opening event. Chad Schofield produced a perfectly timed ride, allowing the talented c**t to settle before finishing strongly and stamping himself as a horse with plenty of upside.

The second winner came in Race 4, where Longinus delivered a well-deserved victory over 2000 metres. Andrew Adkins judged the race beautifully, giving the gelding every chance before producing him at the right time to score impressively. It was an especially rewarding result for his owners, who bred and race him themselves, making the win all the more meaningful and a fitting reward for their patience and commitment.

A huge thank you goes to our incredible team, whose hard work, commitment and attention to detail behind the scenes make results like these possible. From the stable staff and trackwork riders to everyone involved in the day-to-day care of our horses, this premiership is a true team achievement. We are also incredibly grateful to our owners for their continued trust and support throughout the season. Here’s to building on another successful year and an exciting season ahead.

Double the thrill at Wyong yesterday!

A fantastic result for the Brad Widdup stable, producing a classy training double with Flying Grey charging home under Christian Reith and Don’t Tell Polly saluting with Chad Schofield in the saddle. Both horses were presented in outstanding order and it showed on the track.

Massive credit to the entire team behind the scenes - the hard work from all the staff at home never goes unnoticed. Early mornings, long days, and the dedication to getting these horses to the races in peak condition is what makes results like this possible!!

Congratulations as well to the owners who put their trust in the stable - always special to see that support rewarded with a trip to the winner’s circle.

And a very special mention to Polly Harris with Don’t Tell Polly in her honour, making the victory even more meaningful. Moments like that are what make racing so special. This one was for you Harris!
