A very sad day to wake up to the sad news of the passing of Marie Bashir, the First Female Governor of NSW. Marie was a dear friend and colleague during my career in Mental Health. She was remembered by her humanity and great commitment to those in need. Marie disengaged her driver and her entourage as the Governor and walked in her humble street dress to attend my farewell event to honour my retirement from mental health services. A great human being best remembered by her services to the people in her community she loved. R.I.P. Marie. Your great work would never be forgotten.

It was an absolute great honour to take part in this significant ceremony in carrying out the old Chinese Tradition of eye dotting the new Dragon Boats for our dear local club, Central Coast Dragon Boat Club. The ceremony was so impressively conducted and I am so proud and honoured to participate. May this be the utmost blessing to the club and its members for many years to come, to enjoy safe and happy paddling to do the most glory to the wonderful world of sport of Dragon Boating. High commendation to our local Central Coast Council and Marine Rescue Tuggerah Lakes for their valuable support. Love to see these boats on water in action. A DAY TO REMEMBER!

I was greatly honoured to perform the "Eye Dotting" ceremony for their new boat at the Hawkesbury River Dragons at Brooklyn this morning. It's such a great pleasure to see the great development for HRD as a wonderful Dragon Boat club in Sydney, and it was nice meeting the deputy mayor Nathan Tillbury who shows such great interest in the sport 👍. All the very best HRD.

We are absolutely delighted to support Rodak in his pursuit with Dragon Boating as a sport. Fred sets an amazing example of courage, resilience and determination to demonstrate that impairment/disability is not a limit nor a boundary to achievement and enjoyment in the joy of sport. We gladly endorse his accomplishment and ambition, and we are mighty proud to help him achieve his goals in life. "ALL THE VERY BEST FRED." You are a bright shinning example that we should all follow. A dragon boat race was held in Daoxian county of Hunan Province on Saturday. A total of 172 boats with more than 4,800 people have participated in the competition.
