Our Colts unfortunately go down to Balmain in a tight arm wrestle in the preliminary finals 🤼 Chatswood fought valiantly in the first half but Balmain bolted out to an early lead of 22-0 by half time. However, in the second half it was all Chatswood. The Stags ramped up the intensity and fought back hard, scoring two unanswered tries and getting so close to a third, leaving Balmain scoreless in the second forty. Despite the loss it was a fantastic half of footy to end the season on and the Colts should be very proud of a huge season 🦌 onto 2027!

Even with two losses, the Stags had some bright sparks 🏉 Despite a dominant performance from our forwards and a second half surge in the backs, we couldn’t match the pace and skill of Redfield’s backs out wide in the 1s who are now knocked out of finals. Our Colts were right in it at half time, but after almost a full half of defensive effort they couldn’t hold out Cronulla in the second. However IT’S NOT OVER YET! Our Colts still go through to the Prelim Finals for another crack against Balmain due to their high ranking on the ladder !🦌🔥

THIS SATURDAY the stags head into the finals 🔥 Colts take on North Cronulla Sea-Lice Rugby and 1st grade take on Redfield Old Boys Rugby - it will be a cracking afternoon of footy at Eric Tweedale Stadium in Granville!

FINALS INCOMING 🔥 the regular season is officially over and both our Colts and 1st XV will be heading into finals! Following the bye this weekend, our Colts will take on North Cronulla Sea-Lice Rugby and our 1sts will take on Redfield Old Boys Rugby at Eric Tweedale Stadium in Granville on the 15th of August. Get behind the Stags!

Two wins again for the Stags this week 🔥 our colts took on Convicts in the Eastern Suburbs - despite a tight and physical first half, they pulled away in the second half to record a solid win. For our 1sts it was another game of two halves. We scored 5 great tries in the first half, but Brothers fought back valiantly in the second to bring an entertainment game right to the brink! And that’s it for the regular season in 2026! Our 1sts and Colts both head into the finals next week after a bye this weekend 🦌
