Newbury, Oscar Schoff and Jorden Kerby. These riders have all achieved significant status both at a local and State level. Many of these riders have successfully achieved at both National and International level and celebrate memorable titles such as World Champion. We, as a club, hope to continue to encourage, promote and advance safe and competitive cycling in the Fraser Coast Area. President’s vision: To develop, promote and encourage cycling participation and racing within the Fraser Coast, Maryborough and wider areas in a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment. Mission
Provide an environment which nurtures, develops and encourages youth and adults in the Maryborough and Hervey Bay District to ride, race & support the sport of cycling.

5 Priorities for 2024

2024 - EMBEDDING GOOD PRACTICE AND CREATING OPPORTUNITY

1. Provide high quality and well-planned seasonal race opportunities (aligned with AusCycling)
2. Increase club membership and opportunity (youth to adult)
3. Increase the number of and training opportunities for: commissaires/ coaches/ first aid officers/ drivers and
interested club stakeholders
4. Increase opportunity to engage FCRC regarding FCRC Sports Precinct development
5. Provide meaningful value to our sponsors (local bike shops, local organizations, businesses and FCRC)

The platforms represent four core areas that have been identified as being key to the delivery of the vision and the growth and sustainability of the FCCC organization. FCCC Executive 2024
The FCCC executive committee is responsible for governing cycling participation in accordance with the objects as set out in the FCCC Constitution adopted and ratified in July 2021. The current board members (directors) bring a diverse range of professional skills and a passion for cycling to the organization. Members of the committee develop the strategies & goals. Each committee member (Director) then assists in the delivery of the strategies with the support of the club. President: Steve Case

General Operations:
· Club meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at an advertised venue. The AGM is held in March of each year.
· Club Races are held on Sunday commencing between 7am and 9am
o Crit: 7:00am Start summer months
o Winter road races: 8:00 am-9:00 am
· The club officiates both Road races, ITT events and Crit races
· All road races are conducted under the regulations set out by AusCycling (All courses must be supported by a current QPS permit and sanctioned by AusCycling)
· Crit races are held at the Industrial Estate in Enterprize Cct in Maryborough, Astro Slab Hervey Bay and the HB Airport Industrial Estate
· All riders MUST have a current AC license
· All riders MUST wear an Australian approved helmet
· Riders must present their license prior to racing
· All riders will be provided with a number prior to racing
· Junior riders must use restricted gearing
