Waverley Comets Basketball Club

Waverley Comets is seeking an enthusiastic and committed U10 Boys Coach to join our coaching team for the upcoming season.

What we’re looking for:

A positive role model who enjoys working with young athletes

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to teach fundamental basketball skills in a fun, supportive environment

Previous coaching or playing experience (preferred but not essential)

Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required

What we offer:

Congratulations to all our team that played over the weekend. Proud of our Under 10 Comets Snakes - Runners Up this year, a great effort from the boys their final however the Timberwolves where to good on the day.

Well done to Coach Charlie and the the Under 12 Comets Tigers Boys for another successful season and to Coach P (Welcome back) for a hard fought top of the table rematch between the Toorak Tomcats and the Comets Lightning Under 14 Boys edging out the tight win.

We are proud to celebrate another wonderful milestone for our community club — a place where all nationalities, cultures, and genders are embraced. Most importantly, we are united by our love of the game and our dedication to nurturing the growth and development of our children.
