MICK AND MELITA WATSON ORDERS OF MERIT RACES HEAT UP
The 2026 Orders of Merit titles are still up for grabs in both the mens and womens sections.
In the mens, Denman's Kyle Blinco has edged closer to leader Max Wallington thanks to a stronger performance at Sunday's District Championships. Blinco gained 120 points on the Cypress Lakes frontrunner after finishing fourth to Wellington's ninth.
Blinco sits just 165 points behind Wallington while in the battle for third it's the the two Kurri Josh's in the hunt. Currently Stigg is just 80 points ahead of Udbinac and with 6 events remaining, this title race is anything but over.
In the Womens section, Scone's Leah Jamieson has edged ahead of her club mate and current title holder, Lyn Banks by 445 points while Cypress Lakes' Helen Vandenbruggen is a further 175 adrift. There are still three events for the Ladies to contest so Jamieson will be hoping for some solid finishes to wrap up her maiden Melita Watson OOM.

Savannah Webb (Stonecutters Ridge) & Harrison Preece (Pymble) have taken out the South Coast Junior Masters! Congratulations⛳️🏆👏

CLAYTON TAKES TITLE NUMBER THREE BY A SMALL MARGIN
Maitland's Clayton Small has won his third Hunter River District title by one shot over Kurri's Harry Atkinson.
Played at Scone golf club there were several tight battles.
In B Grade, Todd Subat was a two shot victor over Jacob Jordan while C grade went to Merriwa’s Hunter Nutt.
The Junior title was also a nail biting affair with Maitland's Cooper Muir shooting a fine four over 76 to defeat local hope Arnie Hussain by one.
Mick Alsleben did the locals proud taking out the Seniors title with a 5 over 77.
