Ellenbrook Fencing Club is an epee club in the Swan Valley, catering to all ages and fitness levels. With an emphasis on respect, family and group learning, we offer a fun, disciplined and safe environment to learn this fantastic Olympic sport of physical chess. Always looking for new members particularly girls!
Fencing are for the "thinkers", "non sporty types" or those who haven't found their "sports tribe" yet.
It is amazing the number of fencers who "hated sport" before they found us.

For our Club members, remember:
(1) just focus on one thing at a time - sometimes it can get overwhelming, so much to learn and remember. That's why we focus on one technical goal at a time 😊
(2) have fun - we are not playing for any other reason except to learn more and enjoy what we do.
(3) at training, it doesn't matter if you win or lose or what the score was. What matters is did you learn something new today or did you improve something.....focus again on your technical goal, not score 👍😚
(4) remember we are all different, in ages, size, skills and development and we all learn at different rates and in different ways. If you are doing what coach asks and doing the best you are capable of, that is all I want to see 👍😊
All of you are awesome 👍 I love watching you fence and develop, at your rate and in the way that is best for you. 😚
Listen to coach and know that each and every one of you will be guided in the way that suits where you are at, your learning style and appropriate to your age.
