BIG NEWS, CATANI ARMY! 👀🔥

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Tammy Bertone to the Catani Netball Club!

Tammy comes to our club with an incredible wealth of knowledge, experience and passion for all things netball, and we are incredibly excited about the impact she will have within our club and our netball program.

Tammy will be taking on Umpire Coordinator, making sure our umpires have the best support possible. Tammy will also be supporting the junior coaches throughout the season.

Tammy will be lending her time, knowledge and experience to our club, becoming another incredible resource as we continue to grow, develop and build something special at Catani.

We know Tammy is going to make a huge impact, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her become part of the Catani family. 💙🤍

This is another exciting step forward for our club as we continue to invest in our people, our players and the future of Catani.

Last night at Presentation Night, we were incredibly proud to award Bree Quinn Life Membership of the Catani Netball Club.

Since joining Catani in 2002, Bree has made an incredible contribution both on and off the court.

From playing, team managing and serving on our committee, to volunteering, supporting our functions and being part of countless netball trips, Bree has always been a valued and much-loved member of our club.

Her dedication, loyalty and friendship have left a lasting mark on Catani Netball.

Congratulations Bree, and welcome to our Life Members family. 💙🤍

A special congratulations to Bree Quinn, who was awarded Netball Life Membership in recognition of her incredible contribution to the club.

A special edition and our final 2026 guests in the passenger seat… is none other than our Premiership winning 17s! 🚙🎤
What a season this team has had, culminating in a Premiership for this awesome team. For some it’s their fourth in the quaddie of flags won by Catani in the juniors since 2023 with a 13s premiership, followed by a couple in the 15s and now the 17s 🏆🏆🏆🏆

WE ARE PREMIERS!

What a game. What a comeback. What a team.

Our 17 & Under girls have finished their incredible season as 2026 PREMIERS, defeating Yarragon in an absolute nail-biter on Saturday.

The girls found themselves six goals down, but they never stopped fighting. They dug deep, trusted each other and fought their way back into the contest to finish the game on top.

A true Grand Final performance from a group who refused to give up.

A huge congratulations to every single player who pulled on the navy blue and white this season. Your commitment, determination and belief in each other has been incredible to watch. You should all be so proud of what you have achieved.

A massive thank you and congratulations to our coaches Ange and Tones, and our team manager Millie, for everything you have given this team throughout the season. Your time, support and commitment has helped create something very special.

And to the Catani Army… You showed up, you made noise and you got behind our girls when they needed you most. The support from the sideline was incredible and we know the girls felt every bit of it.

This is it. The big one.

Our 17 & Under girls are heading into the Grand Final this weekend, taking on Yarragon for the ultimate prize.

After an incredible season, our girls have earned their spot on the big stage. Now it’s time for the Catani Army to get behind them!

We want to see the Catani Army out in full force, decked out in navy blue and white, making plenty of noise and getting behind our girls from the first centre pass to the final whistle.

Bring the flags. Bring the voices. Bring the Catani spirit.

A huge congratulations to our Catani players recognised at Monday night’s Senior League Vote Count.

👏Congratulations to Cara Moody on being named in the Netball Team of the Year.

👏Congratulations to Liam Adams on being named in the Football Team of the Year.

💙Emily Warren finishing 3rd in B Grade with 22 votes. Cara Moody finishing 8th in A Grade with 16 votes. Brodie Cameron finishing 10th in the Reserves with 11 votes.

A huge congratulations to all of our players who received votes throughout the count. To see so many Catani players recognised at league level is a fantastic achievement for our club.

💙🤍 200 GAMES FOR HANNAH RUSSELL 🤍💙

Recently we celebrated an incredible milestone for one of our most dedicated Catani netballers, Hannah Russell, who has reached an amazing 200 games for the club!

Hannah first joined Catani in 2013 and made an immediate impact, finishing runner-up Best & Fairest in A Grade in her very first season.

Since then, Hannah has given so much to our club, both on and off the court. She has coached our Under 17s and Under 15s, shared her incredible knowledge of the game with so many players, made lifelong friendships and was a proud member of our 2019 B Grade Premiership team.

What makes Hannah’s 200 games even more special is the dedication she has shown to Catani over the years. Living in the city, Hannah has made the trip down for 95% of the time, travelling the distance week after week to pull on the Catani dress and be there for her teammates and her club.

Hannah, your commitment, knowledge, passion and willingness to give back has made you such an important part of Catani Netball. You do so much for our club, and most importantly, we absolutely love having you here.

200 games is an incredible achievement and one that you should be so proud of.

Congratulations Hannah! Here’s to celebrating 200 games and everything you have contributed to the Catani family. 💙🤍
