A massive congratulations to long time students Luke Price and Paul Rodinski both demonstrating their own personal takedowns, positional controls, sweeps and submissions. On completion they were awarded their BJJ Black Belts.
Peter Gaul Kirk Sicard and Andre Powell treated us to some of their favourite techniques and all received Dan gradings. Very well deserved for so many years of service.
On a personal note it was fantastic to have many of my black belts on the mat sharing their extensive grappling knowledge, such a rich culture.

Lachie and Jake born into Martial Arts families already have a lifetime of training boxing, kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling etc. Both are great young men with a fantastic work ethic.
There's always action on the mat.
Staying fit into my mid 50's, it's hard work, there's no substitute.
After a long hard session, one more round, stay present and push through the fatigue.
