Our next race is City Singles on the Maribyrnong River. Hal has donated some great prizes for the race:

• 2 x APS Traffic Flags (hi-vis flags to go on the back of boats when being transported on cars)

• 5 x $50.00 petrol cards for anyone travelling over 100 km and who wins in their correct division.

IT'S TIME TO SUPPORT 2 YOUNG PADDLERS, THOMAS AND ALEXIS, COMPETE IN THEIR RESPECTIVE PADDLING DISCIPLINES AT THE WORLD CANOEING CHAMPIONSHIPS
Geelong Canoe Club is holding a Marathon Paddle Event and Come and Try on Sunday, 31 May, 2026

The event is to raise much needed funds to send 2 young paddlers to the World Championships. Tom Russell is heading to Halifax, Canada, to compete in the ICF World Junior Sprint Canoeing event, and Alexis Jane is heading to Argentina to compete in the World U23 Marathon Canoeing Championship.
Both athletes have been training hard to achieve their individual goals, and now they are ready to compete on the world stage.

Please show your support by donating to either Tom or Alexis or both and use the receipt number to enter one of the events on 31May.

If you are not a paddler, please donate to them, and if you would like to 'Come and Try Kayaking', then come at 11 am. All equipment and instruction will be provided in a friendly and safe environment.

Join the Mothers Day Classic on Sunday May 10 to walk or run or paddle in support of lifesaving breast and ovarian cancer research

PLCC is conducting a club paddle to support Pink Lotus Mothers Day Classic. At 9 am club paddlers will launch from the Patterson River Foreshore. The course or courses will be determined on the morning based on the paddlers that present for the activity. Paddlers will be encouraged to have something Pink and to make a donation to the Mothers Day Classic.

PLCC is celebrating its 60th Anniversary. We are holding a dinner to celebrate the Paddling Community centred at the Club including our Canoeists, Ocean Paddlers, Outriggers, Kayak Paddlers, Dragon Boat Paddlers, and Touring White Water Paddlers.
This will be a great opportunity bring together our diverse paddling Community, share stories and experiences.
We encourage paddlers to bring their partners.
