With the sun shining, who wouldn’t want to be out on the water? Light winds today at Carrum beach did not stop Brendan and Tess. Pacer ‘Penny Lane’ was rigged up with a ‘new’ old main sail and taken out to practise tacks.

June saw plenty of action from our CSMBC members both on the water and out.

- We had concrete laid and cleaned up our yard - thank you Drew, Simon, Laing, Brendan and Nathan for all of your hard work💪🏽

- Tess had a great time at Mordialloc Sailing Club for the 'Sail Our Way' women’s event. It was not only engaging and informative, but the perfect opportunity to make new connections within the sailing community.

- Brendan got the Tasar out - it may need a bit of work but it is sailable!

- Social sails - even in Winter! Well done team 👏🏻

- Winter Solstice - Swim and Sail

View newsletter As we slowly slide into another Melbourne Winter a few members have taken the opportunity to get out on the water in the recent warmer days. There have been quite a few casual adventures since the season officially ended, most of them are recorded on the socials.

Upgrades! CSMBC boat yard is getting a new look 👀
While the boats are out of action this weekend , club members Laing, Brendan and Tess (pictured), plus Nathan and Annabel took the plunge and joined in the Winter Solstice swim, run by the Carrum Surf Life Saving Club.
