There's grand final spots on the line as our boys head into another weekend of finals!

Our U18.5 Boys are out for redemption after they dropped their first final to Tarneit a couple of weeks ago. A win will see them secure their spot in next week's grand final while a loss will end their season early.

Our Reserves Men will also look to secure their grand final place tomorrow, with a win sending them straight through to the big dance in two weeks' time and a loss giving them a second chance next week.

It's do or die for our Senior Men who will look to make the most of their second chance and bounce back. A win will send them into the preliminary final next week, while a loss will cut their season short.

Three games, three different grounds, one massive weekend of Lakers footy. See you there!

It wasn’t to be for our U19 Girls who were chasing their third premiership in a row on Sunday but finished short on the final siren 💔

Over the past couple of years, the girls have shown incredible determination and resilience as they led the way in the EDFL Premier Division. With many of the squad playing at the Jets this season, they often ran out on game day with no bench or short on the field but didn’t shy away from the challenge and often finished the game on top. It was an incredible effort to reach their third consecutive grand final and we couldn’t be prouder of the resilience they have shown this year.

It wasn’t to be for our three junior grand finalists who all finished short on the final siren last week 💔

But what a show they all put on as they challenged their opposition and brought their best in what were some thrilling games!

It’s an incredible achievement in itself to reach the final game of the year and we’re incredibly proud of the way each team represented themselves, the club and fought till the very end.

Well done on a fantastic season and looking forward to going one better in 2027 💪

Some of our youngest Lakers finished off the season in the WFNL Round Robin competition over the past couple of weeks!

It was great to see so many Lakers taking part in the games and sticking around to support our older juniors during the finals series. Well done to you all on a fantastic year!

Three massive finals coming up this weekend for our boys as Division 1 finals commence!

Our Reserves and Senior Men are heading in with a double chance as they look to make the most of their opportunities in tomorrow's qualifying finals.
Our U18.5 Boys will return to the field on Sunday, after a disappointing loss last week that sees them take advantage of the double chance and stay alive for this week's Semi Final.

Looking forward to finals fever spreading through the Laker Nation! The rooms will be open on Sunday following the conclusion of the U19 Girls Grand Final.
