Jaw Pain or Clicking? It Could Be Your TMJ
TMJ dysfunction can contribute to:
• Jaw pain or tension
• Clicking or popping
• Headaches or facial pain
• Discomfort when chewing
• Reduced jaw movement
Osteopathy may help by addressing the jaw and surrounding muscles and joints of the neck and upper back through hands-on treatment and targeted exercises.
If jaw pain is bothering you, our osteopaths can assess what may be contributing to your symptoms.

🟣 Myth Vs Fact 🟣
Myth: If an exercise doesn’t make you sore, it didn’t work.
It’s easy to associate muscle soreness with a “good workout”, but feeling sore the next day isn’t an indication of how effective your exercise session was.
Fact: Progress isn’t measured by soreness.
Muscle soreness often occurs when you introduce a new exercise, increase your training load, or perform movements your body isn’t used to. As your body adapts, you may experience less soreness and that doesn’t mean you’ve stopped making progress.
Instead, signs of progress can include:
• Improved strength and endurance
• Better control and coordination
• Increased mobility
• Improved balance and stability
• Better exercise technique
• Gradually increasing resistance, repetitions or exercise complexity
The goal of exercise isn’t to leave every session feeling sore. Consistent, appropriately progressed movement is what matters.
So, no soreness after your workout? That doesn’t mean it didn’t work. 🏋️♀️
