Despite a valiant effort, our Year 7/8 Girls’ finals campaign came to an end on Friday night, falling just nine points short against Quinns in their Preliminary Final.
These photos take us back to the week before, when the girls produced an outstanding 55-point Elimination Final win over Mosman Park to earn themselves another week of finals footy.
While a Grand Final wasn’t to be, there’s plenty for this group to be proud of — finishing third in the top division, winning an elimination final, and joining a resilient group of Carine teams who have taken their seasons all the way to the Preliminary Finals.
Congratulations on a fantastic season, girls. You represented Carine brilliantly right to the end. 💙🩷

After training with great energy in the wet, and with Preliminary Finals ahead for both our Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 Girls, what better way to celebrate a fantastic season than with some pizza and fun! 🍕
Good luck on Friday, girls! Whatever happens, we’re incredibly proud of you all and of a season filled with plenty of fun and success. 🩷💙

Another huge weekend of finals footy awaits, and all six Carine teams that entered the finals remain in the running for a place in their respective Grand Finals!
Y07/08F, Y09/10F, Y07 Black, Y07 Blue, Y09, and Y10 will all take to the field again this weekend, with everything to play for as we reach the business end of the 2026 season.
Whether you’re playing, coaching, volunteering, or cheering from the sidelines, get behind our Cats as they give it everything for the opportunity to play on the biggest weekend of the year.
Good luck to all six teams. We’re incredibly proud to have you representing Carine!

Last night our Y09 boys caught up with past Carine JFC player and Subiaco legend Brad Smith, one of the WAFL’s great modern-era forwards with 530 goals, three premierships and four Bernie Naylor Medals to his name.
Awesome to have a former Cat back around the club to help out at training! 💙

Our Year 10 Boys started strongly against Mosman Park in Sunday’s Qualifying Final at College Park, leading by 24 points at quarter time and holding onto a narrow advantage heading into the final term.
Mosman Park ultimately finished stronger to take the win, but the boys’ finals campaign is far from over.
They now turn their attention to Wembley Downs in the Preliminary Final, with a place in the Grand Final on the line.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for the Carine JFC Op Shop Prom! From some truly outstanding op shop fashion to the dance floor, auctions, raffles and plenty of laughs, it was fantastic to see our community come together for our biggest fundraising event of the year.
An event like this also relies enormously on the generosity of local businesses and members of our wider community. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed goods, services, prizes and auction items to help make the night a success and raise important funds for our club.

Your generosity directly supported one of our club’s biggest fundraising opportunities of the year, and we’re incredibly appreciative of every contribution. Please support the businesses and people who so generously support our club. 💙
Finally, thank you to everyone behind the scenes who helped organise the event, and to everyone who bought a ticket, placed a bid, entered a raffle or simply came along and embraced the theme.
Thanks for making the 2026 Op Shop Prom one to remember!

Trophies, certificates, games, and a whole lot of colour to see out our Auskick season for 2026! 🌈🏉
We’d like to extend a massive thank you to all of our Auskick and Superkick coaches, managers, and volunteers for helping create such an awesome environment for our youngest players to kick off their Carine JFC footy journey.
Programs like these simply don’t happen without people generously giving their time each week, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in making this season possible.
A special thank you also goes to our outgoing Auskick Coordinator, Tamara Maddock, for the time and energy she’s given to the role throughout the season. Coordinating a program for our youngest Cats is no small task, and we greatly appreciate everything Tam has done for our Auskick community.
With Tamara stepping away from the role, we’ll be looking for a new Auskick Coordinator for 2027. If you’d like to learn more about the position and how you’ll be supported, please get in touch with the club. You’ll have the opportunity to self-nominate at our AGM on Wednesday, 28 October.
And finally, thank you to all of our Auskickers and Superkickers, and the families who supported them throughout the year. We hope you’ve made plenty of great memories along the way, and we look forward to seeing you continue your Carine JFC journeys in 2027!

It’s a big weekend not just for our youth teams, but also our Auskickers! Tomorrow morning they’ll have their final Auskick session for the season, capping it all off with a vibrant colour run.
They also end their season having experienced the warmth and generosity of our youth crew a few weeks ago at this year’s shared training session between our youngest and oldest.
As our Year 12s finalise their junior footy journeys this year, they do so knowing they’ve passed on plenty of experience and encouragement for our Auskickers to take with them into next season and beyond!

A big 50th game for Koby Nygren tomorrow as Y07 Black commence their 2026 finals run at Seacrest Reserve. Congratulations to you, Koby! 5️⃣0️⃣

With a pre-season that began for many of them in early February, our Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 Girls have been rewarded for their commitment and hard work with well-earned places in the finals.
We know they’ll give it everything tonight, and we’re incredibly proud of the way they continue to represent our club.
Good luck, girls! 🩷💙
