ROUND 19 — RESULTS ARE IN
Round 19 delivered our strongest outing yet against Berwick Springs. With only five teams on court and our 15 Under and A/B Grade enjoying a Saturday BYE, the Tigers still made a statement.

Our seniors were outstanding, finishing undefeated with two big wins. The belief is real and the momentum is building — we’re aiming to back it up next week and chase a three‑from‑three senior trifecta.

Our 17s continue to impress. They are playing fabulous netball and are so close to that breakthrough win. This week’s result was their best yet against a very strong Berwick program.

Next week we meet Berwick Springs again, heading in as underdogs in our Juniors and with something to prove in our final round of our inaugural season. We opened the year with two wins against them — Round 20 will show just how far we’ve come.

Can you believe it? One season nearly complete. One club built from scratch. One massive year of growth, fun and connection.

Following a great inaugural season, Cardinia Tigers Netball Club will be entering teams in the Pakenham Netball Association Summer Competition (Term 4 2026 and Term 1 2027).

We encourage all players currently playing in PNA midweek competition at Cardinia Leisure to continue with their current clubs. Playing or NOT Playing in our Summer teams will have no impact on selection or trials for the Winter 2027 SEPNL Competition.

We hope to enter teams in the following age groups:
• 13 Under Born in 2015, 2014, 2013
• 15 Under Born in 2013, 2012, 2011
• 17 Under Born in 2011, 2010, 2009
• Seniors Must be 14 years old

Training and Season Structure

Teams will not have set training for the PNA Summer Competition.
Each team will have a Team Manager, and the competition will have a Midweek Coordinator as the point of contact.
Each Team must supply a scorer at ALL games.
Age Groups

All matches are played at Cardinia Leisure on Tuesday nights. This competition gives our players the chance to build skills, strengthen connections and enjoy netball in a supportive environment.

Winter 2027 SEPNL trials will begin in late October, followed by preseason fitness training before Christmas. Full Winter training will commence in February 2027.

Representative Netball is a great way to extend your skills and a great pathway. Cardinia Tigers Netball Club is aligned with Dandenong & District Netball Association through the South East Precinct Netball League

Round 18 Match reports vs Hampton Park 💛 🖤

Round 18 v Hampton Park – Dreamtime Culture Round & Sponsors Day
Wow. Just wow.
After a few weeks away from home, our Tiger family returned to James Bathe Reserve for one of the most meaningful days in our club’s history — our inaugural Dreamtime Culture Round and Sponsors Day. The first of many against Hampton Park, and a day we delivered with heart, connection and the full roar of Roargust.
A Morning of Generosity and Connection
We kicked off with a beautiful surprise from our Big Cat Sponsors Corafield Farms and Jaleigh Dairies, who donated ten Gilbert Worksafe balls in our club colours. A gift that set the tone for the day.
Teams then gathered for our Acknowledgement of Country, spoken proudly by our Indigenous juniors Laylah McCauley, Mia Tuesner and Max Tuesner. A moment of respect, belonging and unity.
Our Big Cat Sponsor Rachel Quagliani Photography & Design set herself up for a marathon effort, capturing more than three thousand photos across every game. These images will be available to players and used in our marketing and website. This is an extraordinary act of generosity and support.
We were also joined by Councillor Colin Ross from Cardinia Shire, who spent time with our club, chatted about community pathways and even snapped a photo with Prez Kez in her beanie. We are grateful for the two Wellbeing Support Grants we received, which will go towards training tops and website development. Colin has also offered guidance as we prepare for the infrastructure, we will need for the 2027 season.
Junior Tigers Showing Their Growth
Our 13s, 15s and 17s delivered exciting netball, with the 13s and 17s showing strong improvement on the scoreboard. Hampton Park sits near the top of every junior ladder, making these results even more impressive.
Our 15s showed they can compete with the best and pushed hard again this week. Hampton Park sit right at the top of the ladder and our girls threw everything at them, showing grit, improvement and real belief. Finals won’t be on the cards this season, but the foundations are strong and this group will be genuine contenders once they have their full team back and a full pre season together.
Seniors Bringing the Heat
The afternoon began with another heartfelt Acknowledgement of Country, spoken by our Indigenous senior player Breanna Norris, before our D, C and A Grade teams took the court.
Again, Hampton Park sits near the top of all senior competitions, making this round a true measure of our growth. Our brand of netball is now clear, structured and competitive. A Grade even led midway through the second quarter, showing just how far we have come in Season One.
Respect, Culture and Community
In every junior and senior MVP presentation, both clubs showed generosity, respect and genuine appreciation for each other. It was a day that highlighted belonging, fair play and the shared love of great netball.
Our sponsors continue to amaze us with their generosity. From cupcakes by Stacey Kett at Harcourts Pakenham, to advertising support from Shannon Lennie at Southside Racing, the player recruiting from the sideline by Big Cat Sponsor Rose Pauamau StyleZsociety, to game day award sponsors and those who give their time and advice, we are surrounded by people who believe in our beginnings.

We have two weeks left in the home and away season and two teams still in the hunt for finals.
• 13U Blue need just one win against Berwick Springs to secure a finals position
• B Grade can win through on percentage with a strong last round victory against Berwick Springs
