The countdown is nearly on for the DownUnder Travellers World Series 2026 Spring Breakout — and this is your last chance to get involved.

Spring Breakout brings together players across 12U–18U, with teams coming from Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and New Zealand for four days of competitive baseball at Redland Rays Baseball Club.

This isn’t just another weekend tournament. Players get the chance to:

🔥 Test themselves in a high-level tournament environment
👀 Showcase their development, attitude and work ethic in front of experienced DownUnder Travellers coaches
🌎 Put themselves forward for future international tours and 2027 selection opportunities
📈 Develop through real competition while experiencing the standards expected from serious athletes

For younger players, it’s a chance to see where their game stands against quality opposition. For older players, it’s an opportunity to showcase what they can do and take another step towards their next level of baseball.

And with teams already securing their spots, there’s not much time left.

Players only need to attend 1 session and need to be registered (preferably before trialing) by Aug 29th to be allocated into a team.

⚾ Meet the Coach | Greg Morris

53+ years in baseball. Over 30 years developing junior athletes. 17 years as a professional scout with Major League organisation.

Greg Morris will be part of the coaching team at Spring Breakout 2026, bringing an incredible depth of experience from across Australian and international baseball as a player, coach, hitting instructor and professional scout.

Greg has coached Queensland and Australian junior teams, led international tours to the USA and coached the 16U USA Regional Team to a silver medal at the 2022 National Championships in Arizona.

His 17 years in professional scouting also saw him sign numerous players, including two who went on to reach the Major Leagues, while his work in player development has made him a respected figure throughout the baseball community.

Players at Spring Breakout will have the opportunity to compete, develop, and learn from experienced coaches like Greg while putting themselves in an environment where preparation, performance and development matter.
