We’re super excited to announce DJ Anthony K as our newest Resident DJ, leading the entertainment for our disco sessions and special events when we reopen!

Anthony will be bringing the energy, the music and the atmosphere as we welcome everyone back onto the ice. 🔥⛸️

We’ve got some seriously exciting plans in the works for our discos and special events — and we can’t wait for Anthony to be right at the heart of them.

Well, hockey fans — don’t panic. We’ve got you. 😏

When Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink reopens, we’ll be running Stick & Puck sessions throughout the week, giving you plenty of opportunities to get on the ice, work on those hands, practise your shot and just enjoy some quality puck time. 🏒🥅

And that’s only the beginning…

We’ve got plenty more hockey opportunities planned for Canterbury, with more details to be announced as we get closer to reopening.

Whether you’re completely new to skating, looking to build your confidence on the ice, or simply want a fun and social way to spend your morning, Coffee Club is for you.

Your Coffee Club session includes:

We are seeking passionate and experienced coaches across all ice sports disciplines who are committed to fostering participation, athlete development, and a positive skating environment. Whether you are an established coach or looking to expand your coaching opportunities, we would love to hear from you. Registering your interest now will help us plan our coaching programs and ensure we have a diverse and highly qualified team ready to welcome our community back to the ice.

Welcome Brett Bevan to COIR!
Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink is delighted to announce the appointment of Brett Bevan as our new General Manager.
Brett brings extensive experience in sports administration, governance, leadership, and community engagement, having successfully led sporting organisations and developed strong partnerships across the industry.
As we become closer to the re-opening of the ice rink, Brett's vision and leadership will help guide COIR into an exciting new chapter.
