This week, these two incredible young sailors will be lining up on the start line at the Nacra 15 Worlds 2026 in Plymouth, UK, representing Australia against the best young multihull talent on the planet.

And getting here took a village. To every individual who gave up weekends, every training partner who pushed them harder, every club and community that opened its doors, every sponsor and supporter who chipped in, and every family member who towed boats, packed bags, and believed in these two, thank you. These are dreams becoming a reality.

The Australian Nacra 15 Class Association is excited to announce that the 2027 Nacra 15 National Championship will be hosted by Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club in Western Australia.

Following a fantastic season of racing around the country, we're looking forward to bringing Australia's best Nacra 15 sailors together for four days of championship racing, competition, and fun on the water.

Whether you're aiming for a national title, building experience, or joining the fleet for your first Nationals, this is an event you won't want to miss.

Exciting to see Australian Sailing's National Youth Squad officially underway at the AIS. A huge congratulations to all the sailors selected for this program.
A special mention for the Nacra 15 class: 8 of our sailors have earned their place in the National Youth Squad this year. That is an outstanding result and a real reflection of the depth and quality developing in this class across the country.
To the families, coaches, and clubs who have supported these sailors along the way, well done. The hard work is showing.

Day 3 | 2026 Australian Nacra 15 National Championship
Sam and Alana finally found their groove, taking a race win from current leaders Henri and Mia.

The scorecard is starting to take shape with the 2nd drop taking effect after 10 races.

One more day of racing to go. 💪

Day 2 | 2026 Australian Nacra 15 National Championship
Another great day on the water at Lake Macquarie, with some testing conditions keeping everyone honest.

Henri and Mia are building a healthy lead at the top of the fleet, while Alex and Juliet are holding firm in second place.

A standout day for locals Sam and Alana, bouncing back with two second places and a third.

Some early spinnaker troubles made the day a tough one for Liam and Ruby.
