On The Line Tennis

Unfortunately the rain has washed us out again! There will be no Hot Shots, Squads, and Adult Technique classes this afternoon… 🌧️🎾🌧️

Unfortunately this mornings Cardio Tennis session has been washed out unless you are a duck…! 🌧️

It has been a long 3 weeks of consecutive JDS tournaments, finishing with last weekends North Woden JDS. It’s great to have some familiar faces up on the page but it’s also great to see some new ones too.

Super big effort from Gemma Tyndall for taking out the U18 Singles JDS Yellow Ball - Tier 3 final against come back king Thomas Jordan! 🥳

Shout out to Kobi Young and Brodie Cooper for making it to the finals of the U18 Doubles JDS - Yellow Ball event. 🏅

Massive congratulations to Charlie Young for being the U12 Singles JDS Yellow Ball - Tier 2 champion!🏆

Well done to everyone that played in the JDS series. Stay tuned as there is still one more to go…!

Over the weekend there was some more glory at the Forrest JDS. Firstly Gerden Meyer 🥇 for taking out the finals of the U18 Singles Tier 2. Gerden “locked in” and took out his tier without dropping a set. No stranger to this page is Lucas Yeung with his partner Madhur Sadana as they won the U12 Doubles JDS. Well done everyone! 🥳🥳🥳

Today was certainly a wet and rainy day but last weekend the sun wasn’t the only thing that was shining…

An absolutely massive congratulations to Gemma Tyndall (left) and Rachel Nikulin (right) for making it to the finals of the Weston Creek U18 Singles JDS Tier 2 - Yellow Ball final.

Super proud to have both girls play for Melba and both train in the Pro Squad. Rachel (Ray-Dawg) was the eventual champion claiming her first JDS title…! 🥳🥇🎾😁

Hi Everyone, It is with great pleasure that I introduce the newest member of the On the Line Tennis family — Adam Nowlan!

Adam will be in the Pro Shop on Saturday mornings from 9:30–11:00am during Term 3.

Need a re-string? Grab some tennis balls or a new grip? Adam’s got you covered.
Not sure which racquet is right for you? He can also set you up with a demo from the new HEAD Extreme range so you can test it on court.
Adam will also be handling Term 3 tennis payments during his Pro Shop hours.

On the Line Tennis was well represented in last weekends Tennis World, Canberra JDS. Well done to everyone that competed but a special mention has to go out to these two champions… Well done Leo Barac and Dhruuv Karthik for taking out the 12/U Doubles…! 🏆🥳🎾

All eyes might be on the Wimbledon centre court at the moment but… Spare a glance at Leo Barac (left) as he made the finals of 10/U Boys Singles at the J125 Weston Creek tournament the other week. 🥳🎾🏅
