Integrity Taekwon-Do Yarralumla

Fantastic Winter Grading yesterday with both Ethan and Arya grading to Junior Black Belt.
Congratulations to all students that graded yesterday.

Well it's not very often that we post an event that is awe - inspiring, courageous, and showing what the meaning of Indomitable Spirit truly is.
Monday 3rd August Yarralumla Dojang, enter Senior Junior Instructor Aiden with a request that he break some boards tonight!!
Then I was informed that he would be in Sydney on Tuesday morning to undergo Major Spinal Surgery.
Most humans would be at home preparing mentally for what is ahead the next day, followed by 5 weeks in a wheelchair!!
Quick rush home, get a stack of Senior timber boards, Aiden then proceeds to demolish 2 Board Sidekick, 2 Board Turning Kick, Spinning Heal, Jumping Back Kick, and a monster Flying Side kick.
No option but at the completion to promote Aiden to 1st Dan Sabum.
Instructor Aiden is in year 10 at Telopea Park school, his journey started at Red Hill Primary in Kindergarten, along with brother Alsen.
Both still teach students at Red Hill and Telopea Schools and have a large following.
I, personally am in awe of Aiden's drive and resolve, we can all take so much out of this situation, so many lessons to learn, so many stories to tell.

Well, what a week that was teaching 435 students Integrity Taekwondo in 14 Schools across Canberra.
From Amaroo to Isabella Plains amazing students, but even more amazing was our 3 teams of Instructors that gave up their holiday time to teach.
We are so blessed to have you all at Integrity Taekwondo:
