PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

One Sport is incredibly proud to officially announce our two-year partnership as the apparel supplier for the Indoor Cricket ACT, covering both their senior and junior teams!

The last two weeks of national tournaments have shown exactly why this program is so special.

A massive congratulations to the Avengers ACT Rockets Opens team on making history! Claiming the Australian National Championship for the fourth consecutive year is a legendary achievement.

We also want to celebrate the incredible efforts across the entire program. From the Masters and Women’s teams to the rising stars in the Junior programs, every single player, coach, and official showed skill, resilience, and determination competing against the best in Australia.

Seeing the teams take the court in their custom One Sport gear and battle it out has been a massive highlight for us. Thank you to the entire Indoor Cricket ACT community for welcoming us into the family - we can’t wait for next year with the Rockets going for 5 in a row at home!

With 2026 Nationals now in the rear view mirror, we’re wrapping up all the player and staff awards and accolades.

We’re incredible proud of our tight-knit community punching above our weight, with 15 individuals being recognised across the two weeks of ICNC 2026 at Casey Stadium.

Congratulations to all recognised, and congratulations to everyone — players, staff, parents/guardians, umpires, administrators and centre operators — on a sensational two weeks of Indoor Cricket.

WORLD SERIES BOUND!

Congratulations to our U16 Boys skipper, Luc Tipping, who was selected in the Australian U16 Boys team for the 2026 Junior World Series in South Africa in September!

A hugely deserved selection that caps off a great year of indoor for Luc, captaining the ACT U16s to the Plate Title, leading the Hydras in Junior CIPL, and debuting in Men’s CIPL in for the Phoenix, playing against State and Australian Men’s players every week.

The Avengers DXB ACT Rockets claimed their fourth-straight Aus Indoor Cricket National Title on Saturday at Casey Stadium.

The win puts this Rockets team alongside Queensland (1999-2002) as the only team to win four-consecutive Open Men’s titles. Only NSW Women (1992-97) and QLD Lightning (2017-24) have a longer streak at the top level (6-straight apiece).

The win also puts the ACT into 2nd all-time for total Open Men’s titles, with 7 titles, all in the past 10 tournaments, surpassing NSW and WA (six each).

An incredible accomplishment, from a foundation built by decades of dedication from players, coaches, administrators, corporate partners, centre owners and staff, Superleague/CIPL players and umpires, and the families and supporters of everyone involved.

A big twelve months upcoming, with Open Nationals to be played in Canberra in June 2027. We won’t stop sprinting — come and catch us if you can 🚀🚀🚀🚀

Our junior teams having been proudly representing the ACT at Nationals this week!

Testing themselves against the best Australia has to offer has been a significant challenge, but they have shown their skill, resilience, and determination, with each team experiencing that winning feeling during the week.

Our U14 Boys closed out their tournament with a tight loss to QLD White this afternoon, while our U18 Boys play their final match against Tasmania at 5pm.

Our U16 Boys have secured themselves a match on Saturday, defeating NSW this afternoon to lock@in a spot in the Plate Final, tomorrow at 9am on Court 2.
