Whether you are local or traveling interstate, we welcome you! This is a fantastic opportunity for our nationwide judo community to gather, step up to the challenge, reconnect with old friends, and make new ones across an epic weekend of competition and camaraderie. We’ll also have catering available throughout the event to keep everyone fueled up and ready to go!

🥋 Big Energy and High Focus at Ni Bonchi Junior Judo Tonight! 🥋
What an incredible session this evening! We had over 25 awesome little warriors take to the mat from 5:45 PM, and the energy was absolute magic.
From start to finish, every single kid was locked in. They listened brilliantly to Sensei Shorty, followed every instruction, and transitioned from drill to drill with total dedication and pure delight for the sport. The whole hour ran like clockwork - they learned so much while having an absolute blast!

The Pink Belt is awarded to a judoka who shows true heart and total commitment during training. Chosen by the Sensei, this special honor goes to a different person each week - they get to proudly display the belt at home and wear it with pride at the next session before handing it off to the next deserving teammate!
A massive congratulations to Axel for earning the belt tonight! 🏆
Axel did everything asked of him, leveled up his skills on the mat, and stayed cool, calm, and collected through every drill. Outstanding effort! Keep up the amazing work! 👏✨

Ni Bonchi is excited to announce a special training and meet and greet opportunity for our junior athletes aged 6 to 15.
Beyond Grappling Club (BGC) in Monash has invited our club members to meet Paula Mono - Tonga's first-ever Judo Commonwealth Games medalist, and Tonga's closing ceremony flag bearer.
This is a fantastic chance for our kids to learn technique and inspiration from an elite athlete. We encourage as many families to attend this great opportunity.

This Thursday BGC’s very own athlete Paula m***a will be at the dojo showing off his recent bronze medal at the commonwealth games in the +100kg division.
Paula won Tongas first ever judo comm games medal and was the flag bearer for Tonga at the closing ceremony.

Time: 430pm-6:00pm
Ages: 6-15
Paula started training at BGC about 8 years ago and now lives in Japan where he trains full time!
He will be at the dojo to teach the kids some techniques, show off his medal answers questions and snap a photo with your kids.
This is a great opportunity to inspire the next generation.
