The Rowsellas Women's Four and Women's Quadruple Sculls have both secured A-Final spots in another exciting day on the Bosbaan!

Erik Horrie has booked his place in the PR1 Men's Single Sculls Semi-Finals, with the Men's Four and Men's Quadruple Sculls both to compete in B-Finals.

The PR3 Mixed Coxed Four threw their all into their A-Final, finishing in fifth in a high quality race.

Two more World Rowing Championships A-Final spots secured by the Rowsellas in Men's Pair and PR3 Mixed Double Sculls, with Tara Rigney also advancing to the Women's Single Sculls quarter finals! 👏

The Women's Pair placed fifth in their semi-final to qualify for the B-Final, and the Men's Double Sculls finished second in their C-Final.

Day 2 delivered at the World Rowing Championships with five more crews progressing to the next round of racing!

The Women's Four, Women's Quad Scull, Men's Four and Men's Quad Scull will all feature in semi-final races, with the PR3 Mixed Coxed Four securing the Rowsellas' first A-Final berth.

The Men's Double Scull finished fourth in their quarter final to miss out on the semi-finals.

Two medals for the Rowsellas on Day 5 in Amsterdam! 🥈🥉

Angus Dawson and Alex Hill fought hard for Silver in the Men's Pair A-Final, while Ella Marshall and Sam Stunell rowed a gutsy race for Bronze in the PR3 Mixed Double Sculls.

Erik Horrie has booked his spot in the PR1 Men's Single Sculls A-Final after winning his Semi-Final, and Tara Rigney held on for third in her Quarter Final to advance to the Women's Single Sculls Semi-Finals.

The Women's Pair finished strong, taking second in the B-Final.

Presenting your crew line ups for the 2026 World Rowing Championships!

13 crews will proudly represent the green and gold in Amsterdam from 24-30 August.

The Rowsellas are ready to compete on the world stage, an opportunity made possible through the support of Hancock Propsecting and RA Patron Mrs Gina Rinehart AO, the Australian Institute of Sport, the Australian Sports Commission and the Australian Government.

A special moment for the Rowsellas, who were presented with their zootie race suits to acknowledge and celebrate their selection to represent Australia at the 2026 World Rowing Championships.

The event was also an opportunity to recognise the support from Rowing Australia’s Principal Partner, Hancock Prospecting and the enduring commitment of RA Patron Mrs Gina Rinehart AO. Their support is pivotal in enabling Australian crews to prepare, perform and succeed on the world stage.

RA is also incredibly grateful for the Australian Institute of Sport, Australian Sports Commission and the Australian Government whose investment and support enables athletes, coaches and programs to perform on the world stage and represent Australia with pride.

The Australian Rowing Team was honoured to host Rowing Australia Patron, Mrs Gina Rinehart AO at the European Training Centre earlier this month.

The visit from Mrs Rinehart was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate more than a decade of unwavering support for Australian rowing, and acknowledge the vital role that Hancock Prospecting continues to play in enabling our athletes perform on the world stage.

The Australian Rowing Team has enjoyed a successful international season to date winning multiple medals across World Cup, U23 World Championship and U19 World Championship events, results that have been enabled by the partnership with Hancock Prospecting.

As our athletes prepare for the World Championships from 24-30 August, they expressed their gratitude to Mrs Rinehart for taking the time to visit them at the ETC, highlighting the genuine care and support that she and Hancock Prospecting provide our athletes at every opportunity.

Two bronze medal finishes have capped off a successful World Rowing U19 Championships campaign for the Australian Rowing Team.

The podium finishes for the Women’s Pair and Women’s Four marked a brilliant finale for the next generation of Rowsellas in Plovdiv, adding gloss to the strong showing by the Women’s Quadruple Scull that placed second in the C-Final on Friday.

The results highlighted the impact that the unwavering support from Hancock Prospecting and Rowing Australia Patron Mrs Gina Rinehart AO has on Australian rowing.

RA acknowledges the continued support from the Australian Institute of Sport, Australian Sports Commission and Australian Government, whose investment enables athletes, coaches and programs to perform and represent Australia on the world stage.
