Ready to tumble down the rabbit hole? We’re so excited for this Sunday!
Auditions will be held at 11:30am on Sunday, 30 August.
We’re looking for dancers who are already enrolled into one of our shows (senior students in Obsidian, we encourage you to audition!) Be ready to bring some of Wonderland’s most curious characters to life on stage!

Gosh, where do I even start?
This team of 60 incredible humans is made up of so many smaller teams, our Office team, Crew team, Troupe team, Ballet team, DC Fit team, Blueberries team and our core Mainstream team.
Every single person at Dance Central makes a genuine impact in their role. DC simply would not be what it is without the care, talent, energy and individual magic each person brings.
They are the people behind the classes, opportunities, performances, encouragement, organisation and thousands of little moments that make our students and families feel part of something special.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned in business is that you can have the best strategy in the world, but it’s your people and your culture that ultimately make a business great.
There’s a saying I love: if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together. And that feels so true of this team.
Each year, we celebrate Christmas in July because we work incredibly hard and absolutely deserve a good celebration! But more importantly, I believe great culture has to be intentionally created. With so many different teams and timetables, we don’t always get the opportunity to simply be together.
Sometimes leadership is also knowing when to put the tools down, step away from the day-to-day and create space for people to connect, celebrate each other and remember that they’re part of something bigger.
I genuinely love coming to work because I get to work with people I trust, admire and respect and people who care deeply about what they do.
To our beautiful DC team: thank you for showing up the way you do, for caring, for backing each other and for making the magic happen. I am so incredibly grateful for you.
And to our DC community, feel free to show your teachers, coaches or admin team some love in the comments. They deserve it. 💛

There are moments as dance teachers that remind us just how incredibly special this journey is. 🤍
This week, our beautiful RAD ballet students took on their Ballet Exams, and we could not be more proud of them.
To our precious ballet gems, watching you grow in confidence, strength, grace and artistry has been such a privilege. The dedication, resilience and heart you have shown, especially over these past few months, has truly inspired us. 🩰✨
No matter what the results may be, please know that you have already made us incredibly proud. You have worked hard, supported one another and stepped into that exam room with courage and determination and that is something worth celebrating.
A very special thank you to Miss Kylie, Miss Ellie, Miss Siobhan, Miss Ash, Miss Soraya, Mr Jordan and our entire DC team. These exams are truly a team effort, and so much love, time, care and preparation goes on behind the scenes to create the supportive and nurturing environment our dancers deserve. 🤍
We are so grateful for every parent and person who helped make this week possible.
Congratulations, our gorgeous ballet dancers, you are magnificent, and we cannot wait to see you shine on stage at our EOY Show!
