Expression of Interest: Women’s Grade Cricket in Gungahlin: 2026–27 Cricket Season 🏏🔥
North Canberra Gungahlin Cricket Club, in conjunction with Yerrabi District Cricket Club, is seeking expressions of interest from women and girls who would like to play women’s grade cricket in Gungahlin during the 2026–27 season.
This expression of interest will help both Clubs understand the level of interest in establishing or supporting a women’s grade cricket team and will assist with planning for player numbers, coaching, training, competition entry and any partnership opportunities should we receive enough EOIs.
Please complete the form at the link in our bio if you are interested in playing women’s grade cricket in the Gungahlin region for the 2026–27 season, whether you are new to cricket, returning to the game, currently playing socially, or already registered with another club.
Submitting an expression of interest does not commit you to registering. It simply allows the Clubs to understand interest levels and contact you with further information as planning progresses.

NCGCC ‘26/27 BRAD HADDIN SHIELD NOMINATIONS OPEN NOW 🦅
The Brad Haddin Shield is an exciting new competition announced by Cricket ACT at the U16 level for the 2026/27 season.
The Brad Haddin Shield is being developed as a high-quality, structured playing environment for the ACT’s leading U16 players, aligning club cricket, representative pathways and long-term athlete development into a single, cohesive model.
The Brad Haddin Shield will serve as the primary match-play platform for high-potential U16 male athletes, providing consistent, like-for-like competition and creating clearer opportunities to progress through the ACT pathway toward underage National Championships selection frames, whilst also proving stronger alignment, connection and transition to Premier Cricket clubs.
North Canberra Gungahlin Cricket Club is seeking eligible players interested in nominating to represent the North Canberra Gungahlin Cricket Club in the Brad Haddin Shield.
The competition is scheduled to occur over the September/October school holidays and the December/January school holidays. Finals dates are to be advised by Cricket ACT.
