Vale Damien Wilkie

The ACT Volleyball Community has sadly lost one of it's members in Damien Wilkie, affectivonately known as Damo.

Damo was a beautiful soul and a volleyball tragic, often found on the court at any possible opportunity. He was someone who brought so much to our volleyball community, and this loss is devastating.

Damo played 53 Games for Royals across 2022-23, and countless others across the Canberra competition. We saw a worthy tribute by all CVL teams on Sunday who wore black armbands in his memory.

Our thoughts are with Damian's family, friends, teammates and everyone in our volleyball community who knew and loved him.

Damien's funeral will be 3pm on Friday 21st August at Norwood Park in Mitchell, Canberra.
