COACHES – EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NOW OPEN

Be part of the 2027 Inner West Netball Association Representative Program.

IWNA is seeking passionate and committed coaches to work with our U11–U17 State Titles and Development teams, helping develop our players and build the next generation of representative netball.

• Apprentice Coaches

Our Apprentice Coach position is a five-week development opportunity for coaches looking to learn more about the IWNA Representative Program, develop their coaching skills and work alongside our Phase 1 Squads on Thursday evenings.

COACHING COMMITMENTS

Phase 1 – 2026
Five weeks of Thursday training for U11–U15 Phase 1 Squad Selection, from 30 October to 27 November.

Phase 2 – 2027
Representative training and fitness commence in early February, with commitments varying by age group and including weekly training, carnivals and State Titles.

For our U12–U15 State Titles and Development teams, coaches are also required to coach their team during the 2027 Inner West Winter Competition, covering the 14-round regular season.

📢 REMINDER: U8 & U9 Participation Awards — This Saturday, 29 August 2026

To celebrate our U8 and U9 teams 2026 season, we're holding a Participation Award 🏆 presentation straight after Round 16 this Saturday.

All teams head to the front of the Administration Building immediately after your game.

🕣 8:30am — 9yrs Gold & 9yrs White
🕤 9:30am — 8yrs Black & 8yrs White
🕥 10:30am — 9yrs Black

🏐 12 Years (born 2015) – Saturday 12 September | 8.30am–10.30am (Sign on 8.15am)
🏐 13 Years (born 2014) – Saturday 12 September | 10.30am–12.30pm (Sign on 10.15am)
🏐 14 Years (born 2013) – Saturday 12 September | 1.00pm–2.00pm (Sign on 12.45pm)
🏐 15 Years (born 2012) – Saturday 12 September | 2.00pm–3.00pm (Sign on 1.45pm)

Representative Skills Clinic & Training
Players selected into the Representative Squad will attend training at Cintra Park on Thursdays from 29 October to 26 November, 6.00pm–7.30pm.

Representative Phase 2 Trials

Wednesday 25 November
• Under 13s – 6.00pm–7.00pm
• Under 14s – 7.00pm–8.00pm
• Under 15s (if required) – 8.00pm–8.45pm

Thursday 26 November
• Under 11s – 5.30pm–7.00pm
• Under 12s – 7.00pm–8.00pm

2027 representative training will commence in early February.
