Cross Country runners who qualified for state, have you done your registration?

On Monday 22nd of June, the girls sevens team competed at Camden Rugby Fields in the inargural Girls Sevens Rugby Union Championship. 10 girls took to the pool games with a can do attitude and won their pool.

After a break, they lined up against Liverpool in the semi finals. It was a hard game with the score line only separated by a try the whole game. In the end, Liverpool ended up winning the game.

Our final game of the day was a rematch again Green Valley. They started strong, but we regathered and gave them our all in the second half. Unfortunately, we could not quite get back in the lead, and ended up finishing the day in fourth.

Great work by all the girls, most of which had never played Union before. They represented Campbelltown proudly.

Special congratulations to Giselle and Harmony, both from Briar Road PS, for making the Sydney South West Regional Team.

🥇 Boys Rugby Champions 🏆
Today the Sydney South West Rugby Championships were held at Camden.The boys went undefeated and were crowned champions. A huge congratulations to each and everyone of them. A special congratulations to Sio, Sidney, and Manse on their selection into the SSW team.

Zone Boys Soccer ⚽️ 🥅

Yesterday our Campbelltown Zone boys' soccer team competed in the SSW Championships.

The boys faced MacArthur in their opening match and started the day strongly, securing a 1–0 victory thanks to a goal scored within the first four minutes.

In the second game, we took on Bankstown and were unlucky to go down 1–0 after a well-taken free kick.

The third match saw the boys come up against The Fields. Despite a determined effort, they were defeated 3–1 against a very strong opposition.

The fourth and final game was undoubtedly our best performance of the day. The boys played outstanding football and finished with a dominant 4–1 victory over Lansdowne.

The boys should be extremely proud of their efforts throughout the carnival. They played with determination, fairness, and sportsmanship, while showing outstanding respect to everyone involved in the day. They represented Campbelltown Zone exceptionally well and should be congratulated on both their performances and their attitude.

Gala Day - Lost Boots

There were a pair of Nike boots left near the toilets of rugby league and soccer today. If you are missing them, please contact Renee at Briar Road PS to describe them and organise pick up.
