Monday was the first night at our second site.....The Fencing Factory.
Monday nights are comp night. Turn up Warm up and fence through to the final. A good turn out and some strong fencing. The final match was hard fought between Jonathan Patchen and Liam Powrie with Liam narrowly going down to Johnno 13-12 on time. A good fight

I am extremely proud of all of our fencers and the effort and enthusiasm they put into pursuing the sport we all enjoy.
I am also immensely proud of the fact that not only were our fencers the recipients of Volunteer and Teammate of the year but so many of the runners up were from our club as well.
You can all be incredibly proud of the work ethic you display to new fencers and the feeling of welcomeness they get when they arrive and of the fact that our fencers and their families believe we are all part of keeping the sport in QLD thriving.

Hi all.
The fencing Club now has a second smaller venue in the southwestern suburbs.
Monday night training will now be held at
"The Fencing Factory"
3 Oldfield road 17 mile rocks
This venue won't replace The Fencing Club at Camp Hill where we are able to run 10 pistes in a session but will give us the opportunity to offer more flexible individual lesson times and smaller squad base sessions around our regular training nights.
We will see the Monday night group tonight and everyone else stay tuned for more!
Good Luck to Lachlan and Jacob. The boys are fencing in the Epee World Championships in Hong Kong today (about 11am our time)
