48 years in the making… and built on players like Jack Anstee.

A huge congratulations to Jack — a long-time member of the Dynamic Cricket Coaching program — on becoming a premiership player with Murrumbeena.

Relentless. Tough. An absolute competitor.

There’s a narrative that Jack isn’t the most “naturally skilled” — but that completely misses the point.

Jack is built for big moments.

He’s trained for them. Earned them. And when the pressure came in a grand final, he stood up as part of a group that got it done.

Behind every player like this is a support system that matters just as much — and a special mention to Leah Calnan and Matt Anstee, whose support, time and commitment have helped Jack get to this moment.

Premierships aren’t handed out on talent alone — they’re won by players who prepare, compete and deliver when it matters most.

Jack Anstee is exactly that.

💯 Maiden Senior Century — A Special One

Huge congratulations to Cooper Anstee, who brought up his first senior hundred for Murrumbeena yesterday — a terrific innings built on patience, clarity and belief.

📊 100 off 98 balls*
💣 3 sixes
🔥 Second fifty in just 23 balls

What makes this knock even more rewarding is the journey behind it. Back on 5 February, Cooper and Joel Sheldon did a session together when Cooper felt he was out of form and searching for answers. There were no major changes needed — just a tune-up, clear plans, and reassurance around what he already does well.

That’s an important reminder in cricket:
Things are never as good or as bad as they seem. Sometimes players don’t need fixing — they need confidence and clarity.

Proud moment, Coops. Well earned and richly deserved. 👏🏏
