In 1973, the same year Bell’s Beach Surf Classic was first held as a professional competition, Swedish Kona Boards Australia co-founder, Svante Fielding, sailed into his life-long passion for watersports on oceans the other side of the world in an Optimist dinghy. Some days, you can actually see the turtles underneath you while you are on a SUP. See that little shadow where the snorkeller is looking....that's a turtle! On this day we had 6 just floating around below the SUP. So cool!
