THIS COMING WEEK we have our Auditions for the 2027 Competition Season! Have you thought about our Performance Teams?
Our teams compete at local eisteddfods throughout the year, just as you see in these photos from this season’s final comp last weekend!
Our teams are also invited by the council to perform at major community events ie Carols by Candlelight, BeachFest, Winter Wonderland, etc. We audition now, then begin team training through the rest of the year, ready for the eisteddfods in 2027.
 
We would love for you to come along to try out! All students are invited to join our teams in class next week - Times below!
 
Mini Stars 6&U / 8&U Team - Monday 24th August 3.30 - 4.30pm
Intermediate Stars 12&U Team - Monday 24th August 5.30 - 7.00pm
Teen Stars 14&U Team - Tuesday 25th August 5.30 - 6.30pm
Senior Stars Open Team - Monday 24th August 5.30 - 7.00pm
Acrobatics Team - Friday 28th August 6.30 - 7.15pm
Tap Team - Monday 24th August 7.00 - 8.00pm

Congratulations to our ballerinas who travelled to Brisbane yesterday for their 2026 RAD Ballet Examinations! 🩰🤍

A massive THANK YOU to the incredible Miss Dimity for preparing and supporting our students through the examination process. Our students are very lucky to have you in their corner 💖

An RAD exam is no small feat, and every single student should be so proud of their achievement. 🌟

“Like many parents, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves before Ella’s first SCPAC concert. But the moment she stepped onto the stage at just 2 years of age, those nerves disappeared. Watching her perform, I knew she was exactly where she was meant to be. From that very first performance, she has continued to shine and grow in confidence every year since.

Now, at 11 years old, Ella is preparing for another SCPAC concert. It’s been amazing to watch her journey from one of the tiniest performers to now dancing alongside some of the more experienced girls. One of her favourite memories has always been performing ballet, and every year she looks forward to stepping on stage again.

What makes SCPAC concerts so special is how well organised they are. The children are supported every step of the way, from rehearsals to backstage and onto the stage itself. The teachers, assistants and older students are incredibly caring and ensure every dancer feels safe, prepared and excited.

Concert has become one of the highlights of our year. Watching the children’s confidence grow, seeing the friendships they build and witnessing the pride on their faces after they perform is something truly special.

If you’re wondering whether to sign your child up, I would absolutely encourage you to do it. It is an unforgettable experience, and seeing your child light up on stage is a moment you’ll treasure forever.”
