Astrid got a little excited and started high sticking the rod 😅 Luckily she listened, adjusted straight away, and fought this snapper like a pro. Watching her call out the fish's depth from the reel's line counter and work it around the boat made me pretty proud. A solid 38cm snapper to finish it off! 🎣❤️

New gear always needs a proper test and the new Sasame UV Blood Bait Sabiki definitely passed.

The blood bait pattern imitates tiny plankton, and the strong Chinu hooks did the job perfectly, safe to say the jack macks approve.

Winter fishing can be tough, but today the softbaits did the job. We added Krill Gel and Kina Gel to our lures and ended up with a nice haul of fish. What's your go-to scent in winter? 🎣 ❄️
