45 PACE kids represented their regions at the Peninsula T&F Championships, and what a memorable few days it was.
From the mud of Ballarat, with some rushing straight from the National XC, to the sun of Cairns, our athletes travelled from all over to compete, challenge themselves and create some special moments. There were tears, PBs, records, nerves, excitement and plenty to be proud of.
Weβre incredibly proud of every one of them, not just for their results, but for getting out there, giving it a go and supporting each other along the way.
Well done, PACE kids. You should be proud of yourselves. β€β¨

PACE at the Australian XC Champs π¦πΊπββοΈπββοΈ
What a weekend for our 13 PACE kids who proudly represented Queensland at the Australian Cross Country Championships in Ballarat!
It was a true cross country course, mud, challenging conditions and all! π§οΈ But they embraced it, dug deep and gave it everything they had.
Weβre so proud of their results, with two athletes finishing in the individual top 10 and three helping Queensland teams onto the podium.
Even better, they came away from the weekend with big smiles, great memories and a definite desire to come back and do it all again next year! β€οΈ
Here are a few photos from an unforgettable weekend in Ballarat. Thank you to the photgrpahersπΈ
It was also lovely to see 4 past PACE members at the championships. Well done, PACE crew, you did yourselves & us proud! β€

What a morning for our Townsville Pace kids at the McDonald's Run Festival! π₯πββοΈπββοΈ
From the first race to the last, our kids showed up ready to give it everything. There were personal bests, goals smashed, determined finishes, and plenty of proud smiles as they crossed the line.
It was fantastic to see all the hard work from training paying off, and to top it all off, a few of our athletes even came home with a little prize money, what a bonus! π°π
The biggest win, though, was seeing our Pace kids backing themselves, encouraging each other, and enjoying every moment out on the course.

Day 2 β School State XC Championships | ToowoombaπββοΈπββοΈ
Day 1 was about learning the course. Day 2 was about putting that preparation into practice.
It was great to watch our athletes execute their race plans. Some went exactly as planned, while others didnβt quite unfold the way they hoped, which is where the biggest lessons are learnt.
These are young athletes who are continuing to grow, develop and learn every time they step on the start line. I could not be prouder of the way they represented themselves, their school regions and Pace.
A huge congratulations to Parker, who finished 3rd in the 15 Boys, and Halle who placed 5th in the 14 Girls Their outstanding performances have earned them selection in the QLD School Team and they will now represent QLD at the School National Championships in October. We couldn't be more excited for them!
To every athlete who raced today, you should be proud. Cross country has a way of testing more than just fitness.
Keep believing in the process.

SCHOOL STATE XC CHAMPIONSHIPS β DAY 1 π€β€
Day 1 in Toowoomba was all about bringing our team together before the racing began.
An incredible 63 Pace Project athletes represented the Peninsula and Northern school regions, with some travelling from remote communities where they train largely on their own. Seeing everyone together in one place was something pretty special.
The afternoon was spent walking the course, taking team photos, catching up with friends, and soaking up the atmosphere before race day.
It's cliche but true, qualifying for the Queensland School State Cross Country Championships is an achievement to be proud of. But as we all know, this journey has always been about so much more than running & I am hoping these photos capture that.

CAIRNS MARATHON FESTIVAL ππ₯
What a day for our incredible PACE kids at the Cairns Marathon Festival!
From the 2km all the way through to the Half Marathon, our athletes were out in force, taking on new challenges, chasing PBs, stepping up to longer distances, and showing exactly what hard work and consistency can achieve.
There were smiles, nerves, grit, determination and some seriously impressive performances across every distance. Some stood on podiums, some ran personal bests, and others simply proved to themselves that they are capable of more than they ever imagined.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing past PACE kids, now home from college, back on the start line alongside the next generation coming through. It was a wonderful reminder that while the singlet may change, the connection never does.
Once a PACE kid, always a PACE kid β€
What makes this group special isn't just the results, it's the culture, the support for one another, and the willingness to have a go and give their best every single time they step on a start line.
To every athlete who raced today, from the 2km runners to the Half Marathon finishers, we are incredibly proud of you.
The future is bright, and today was another reminder that PACE continues to move in the right direction. π₯
Thank you for another amazing event β¨
