🏁 Townsville Kart Club
Championship – Round 5 🏁

What a weekend it was in sunny Townsville! ☀️ There wasn’t much time to rest after racing in the Whitsundays last weekend, but we were back at it again this weekend and ready to go! 🏎️💨

I had a great weekend of racing, bringing home plenty of P3 finishes! 🙌

Heat 1: 🥉 P3 Random grid start had me starting from P8. I made a great start and came out of the first corner in P3, holding onto that position for the entire race!

Heat 2: 🥉 P3 I got myself up into P2 early, but unfortunately got taken out. I managed to fight my way back and finish in P3.

Heat 3: DNF I was going strong and sitting in P2 when I realised my chain was coming loose. Unfortunately, I had to come off the track, resulting in a DNF.

Final: 🥉 P3 The kart felt great after the previous race, and I managed to work my way back through the field to finish P3! Absolutely stoked with that result! 🙌🔥

🏁The State Cup shakedown is done and before we know it, we’ll be back here in just one month for the QLD State Cup! 🔥

🏁Qualifying unfortunately ended in a DNS for me, as my kart wasn’t quite ready in time.

🏁Although I didn’t podium I had an awesome weekend racing with everyone, and I think this might just be my new favourite track! 🙌
