BUNGALOW CRITERIUM | THIS SUNDAY 19 JULY 🚴

Who's ready to race?

🕖 Registration: 7:00–7:25am
🏁 Racing starts: 7:30am
💰 $15 seniors | $8 juniors

Racing is open to all grades, with grades determined based on the riders present on the day.

We're also looking for Traffic Marshals to help with corner duties. If you're racing, could you spare some time to marshal before or after your race? Better still, bring along a partner, family member or friend to help out.

If you can assist, please contact the club via Messenger.

The more volunteers we have, the easier it is to run safe, successful race days for everyone.

Want to get qualified?
The Queensland Government's free online Event Traffic Marshal course takes around 20–90 minutes to complete, and once you've passed the assessment you can help marshal at future club events. We'll pop the link in the comments.

Aus Cycling AMV Madison Clinic!

If you are a junior track or elite masters rider and are planning on participating in the State Championships, the Australian Junior Track Series (AJTS), and the National Under 17 Championships and wishing to compete in Madison events, successful completion of the AMV Madison clinic is a prerequisite.

Aus Cycling are hosting a clinic October 17/18 & 24/25

The Madison Clinic is conducted by experienced AusCycling coaches and is designed to ensure riders can safely complete Madison training sessions while gaining the skills and accreditation required to compete in Madison events.

It was a great day of racing down at the Bungalow Criterium course this weekend!

Well done to everyone who participated and thank you to all who came down to support both the riders and the racing.

Of course racing cannot happen without the help of the club committee and volunteers that make the day run smoothly, we cannot thank you enough for the time you give to support our sport.

Just over two weeks to go until the 2026 AusCycling Cycling State Road Championships (Queensland) in Mackay, so now is the time to lock in your entries.

A huge effort by Mackay Cycling Club to bring State Titles to North Queensland and we're proud to see a strong Cairns contingent lining up to race across the weekend.

We're also hearing whispers that a certain Masters rider may be making a return to the racing scene, with State Titles firmly on the radar... 👀

Great racing by all today! A big thank you to those who participated in racing and special appreciation to our volunteers and commissaries for all your support to ensure that racing is achieved and safe for all riders.
