Track is a go! Come down to the velodrome to watch a thrilling evening of racing.

Good news, lights are working and the weather seems to be improving. Track will be on tonight, weather permitting. 🚴

Motorpacing is off tonight. Damp track and issues with the lights have hampered us again.

We'll keep you updated for tomorrow night's Wednesday Track Racing.

ATTENTION: All riders must have front and rear lights for tonight’s training session.

Thursday night training is going ahead, however the track lights are undergoing maintenance and may not be available.
Please ensure you bring both front and rear lights if you are using the track for training tonight.

The October long weekend means one thing... Cairns Cup on Wheels!

Right across the final weekend of the school holidays, we’ll have

🏁 Friday night 03 OCT – Track racing
🏁 Saturday night 04 OCT – Track racing
🏁 Sunday morning 05 OCT – King's Birthday Criterium

Three days of racing and a huge weekend for our cycling community.

We’re also looking for people and businesses who’d like to get involved.

If you have a business, or know one that might be interested in sponsoring Cairns Cup on Wheels, please get in touch.

Or get involved personally! We’ll need plenty of hands across the weekend to help in the canteen, cook food, assist at registration, set up, pack down and keep everything running.

It takes a lot of people to put on a weekend like this, and we’d love to have you involved.

🏁 THE FINAL RACE IS THIS SUNDAY!

Race 3 | Elements Air & Refrigeration Winter Criterium Series is this Sunday, and it is definitely not too late to enter.

Not everyone is chasing the overall series win. Sometimes it’s just about getting out on the course, having a race and making your mates hurt a little 😈

And as you can see from the standings after two races, this is by no means a done deal!
