Our members-only BJJ comp is coming up - Sunday 2nd August!

The Smoothcomp link will be sent out when registrations open next week. This is another free event for our members 🙌

This is the chance to test your skills in Gi & No Gi,
gain competition experience, learn the ropes of registration, weight divisions & proper uniforms at no cost.

Competition Details:
- Open to all current members
- Gi and No Gi
- Follows IBJJF rules
- FREE to enter

Parents: Don't forget the correct belt!
* Lil Ninjas → White or Grey
* Junior Warriors → Current belt colour (White, Grey, Yellow, Orange, Green)

Members of the Month ✨️

Congratulations to Bella and Jayce on being our June Members of the Month! Bella has stepped up her training and is now in the Intermediate and fighters Muay Thai classes. Her consistency, effort and focus are showing in her improvement and she is a pleasure to have around - a little ray of sunshine!

Jayce has also stepped up his game, now training 6 times a week and doing BOTH the BJJ junior Elite Team and Junior Muay Thai Comp Team programs. He is laser focused, always tries hard and gives it his all. And it shows 💪

Keep up the great work both of you and enjoy your prizes!!

Big congratulations to Harry, Bailey and Parks on earning their Yellow/White belts in BJJ! 👏🥋 Also a huge congratulations to Luca and Indie on receiving their Orange/White belts! An awesome achievement and a reflection of the dedication you’ve all shown.

🏅 GRADING DAY — JUNE 2026 🏅

On Saturday 6th June, we held one of the most memorable grading days in our academy’s history.

Families, teammates and coaches packed the mats to watch 10 dedicated members step up and earn promotion to a new belt. That’s months (and years) of showing up, doing the work, and growing on and off the mats.

A huge moment for the whole gym: massive congratulations to two of our longest-serving and most respected members, Martin Bogner and Zacherad Patten, who were awarded their BLACK BELTS. The pinnacle of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a milestone that reflects over a decade of dedication to the gentle art.

To everyone who graded: we’re proud of you. You make this community what it is. 🤝
