🌊 Welcoming Zayne Hamill to Palm Beach Qld SLSC

We’re excited to welcome Zayne to Palm Beach Qld SLSC, joining our Club from the end of September as our Head of Coaching and Development.

Zayne is a Palm Beach local and brings with him more than 20 years of high-level surf sports coaching experience. Throughout his coaching career, Zayne has worked with and developed athletes competing at the highest levels of surf sports, including multiple World and Australian Champions.

His experience includes coaching athletes to success in the Shaw and Partners Iron Series, World Ocean Series and Coolangatta Gold, as well as at World Championship level.

Zayne is also the Head Coach of the Australian Lifesaving Team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience from the highest levels of Australian surf lifesaving to Palm Beach.

While Zayne’s experience at the elite level is significant, his approach to coaching is very much about helping athletes and members develop, improve and reach their potential.

We’re excited about the knowledge, energy and opportunities Zayne will bring to our coaching program and look forward to having him officially join the Palm Beach family at the end of September.

Whale season is putting on a spectacular show off Palmy, so if you're heading down for a walk, a paddle or a patrol, keep your eyes on the horizon. You might just catch a tail slap, a breach or a curious calf showing off.
Remember...
📏 Give them plenty of space if you're on the water.
Nature's greatest show is playing right off our beach, and tickets are completely free.
