PAPUA New Guinea Esports Association will field both men’s and women’s teams in the upcoming Oceania Regional Qualifiers on Aug 22, with matches played online in each country before the finals in Los Angeles later this year.

The qualifiers pit PNG gamers against opponents from Australia, New Zealand and Guam. For the first time, PNG’s women’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang national team will compete internationally, aiming to secure a place in December’s finals in Los Angeles.

Winter will be playing against Australia and New Zealand in the Global Esports Federation Oceania Qualifiers to Los Angeles this month on the 22nd of August.
