Central Lakes parkrun is a free, timed, 5km run/walk put on by the community for the community at 7a The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once!
parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run, jog or walk. It can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. Central Lakes parkrun offers an opportunity for all members of our local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy our beautiful course and get physically active in the process.

Thank you to all 109 participants who finished Central Lakes parkrun this morning for event #521!
Milestone celebrations for Amanda & Vicki who volunteered for their 25th time this morning (and possibly didn't even realise) as well as John who ticked off his 25th finish (sorry John, I don't have a photo to share). And a big congratulations to Martin who ticked off his 100th finish. Well done to you all.
A massive thank you to all 10 volunteers who made this morning's event possible; Mel, David, Amanda, Anne, Vicki, Alexiah, Ron, Jane, Tee and Ashton. Without volunteers, parkrun wouldn't happen 👏😍
Results are live, photos are about to be posted and the roster is looking good for the next few weeks.
