Not every story ends with the result you dreamed of.

Today our U17 Boys walked off the field for the final time as junior rugby league players.

For some, this journey started when the jerseys were too big, the boots were tiny and footy was simply about running around with their mates. Somewhere along the way, they grew up.

There have been wins, losses, injuries, laughs, tough days, unforgettable moments and friendships built through this game.

Today’s result hurts. We know how badly these boys wanted one more game together.

But nothing about today takes away from what they have achieved or the way they have represented our club.

To our boys — be proud of yourselves. Be proud of the jersey you wore. And most importantly, be proud of the mates standing beside you.

Junior footy might be finished, but you will always have a home at the Snake Pit.

Making it all the way to the Preliminary Final is something these boys should be incredibly proud of. They’ve worked hard, backed each other and represented the Snakes with pride every step of the way.

📍 Pay stations, change rooms, canteen and warm-up areas are marked on the map.
🚪 Teams – please check your Change Room Allocation and arrive 1 hour before kick-off.
💰 $5 ENTRY – 18+
🏉 Entry fee includes team playing staff
💳 Cash & card payments available
🔥 Warm-up fields are clearly marked – no games on these areas.

🤞Please remind all adults attending finals venues, all will be required to pay the $5 entry fee
🤞All behaviour is expected to be positive, especially towards all match officials and volunteers
