The BBFC girls only miniroos carnival is intended to be a fun participation carnival and a chance to give the girls some additional games to round out the season.

Carnival will run from 9am to around 1pm - younger grades will finish earlier.

Playing pools are grade 6 to 11 - mixed age teams are OK but they will be placed in the playing pool where the oldest players are.

⚽️ No carnival entry fee
⚽️ Referees provided by the club
⚽️ Medallions and presentation at the end of each grade’s games
⚽️ Canteen and BBQ facilities running all day

Our dear mate and longtime Byron Bay FC comrade, Gabe, recently took a nasty hit during a soccer match against Casino on Saturday, snapping both bones in his shin. True to form, he took it like an absolute champ.

Thanks to the incredible work of the ambos—who got to him with the green whistle within about an hour—he was safely transported to Lismore Base Hospital. He underwent surgery yesterday, is currently recovering well, and is hopefully heading home tomorrow!

While he is on the mend, he is still in a lot of pain and faces a long road ahead. It will be at least 8 weeks before he can stand, work, and fend for himself.

As the owner and head barber at Jack the Snipper in the Industrial Estate, Gabe’s injury puts him completely out of work for the foreseeable future. Being unable to stand means his business and livelihood will take a significant financial hit during this time.

On top of being unable to work, Gabe won’t be able to cook, clean, or manage daily tasks on his own, meaning he will need plenty of support from our community while he heals.

Gabe is always there for our community, and now it’s our turn to be there for him. Please consider giving whatever you can to help ease the financial burden and provide Gabe with what he needs to get through his recovery.

Tuesday 7/7 school holiday soccer clinic cancelled due to overnight rain and ongoing weather :(

BBFC school holiday soccer clinics will be running on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the July school holidays for players 7-12. A great way to kick off the season and learn some new skills from our experienced coaches!

Sessions run from 9am to midday each Tuesday and Thursday
$35 per session payable on the day
Morning tea of fruit provided
Regular soccer kit required - Shin pads and soccer boots and bring a hat and water.

In the event of wet weather parents will be notified by text by 8am if the session has to be cancelled.
