2026/27 SAILING MEMBERSHIPS ARE NOW DUE

Early Bird rates are now live: renew before 1 October and save.

All sailing members from last season should have received their membership invoice. If you haven’t received yours, check your inbox and spam/junk folder, and if it’s still missing, email [email protected] and we’ll send it through.

Need to update something or spotted an error on your invoice? Just contact the office before paying and we’ll get it sorted.

So don’t wait for the fleet to disappear over the horizon, renew now and get yourself back in the water.

Well, apparently not last Friday!

Our Members Draw has JACKPOTED AGAIN and has now climbed to a massive $1,250!

Could your membership tag be the one that finally gets called?

The draw is on this Friday between 5pm and 7pm. If your tag is drawn, you must be at the Club to claim the prize.

And remember, we’re still in the 2025–26 season, so only members with a pink membership tag are eligible until 1 September. From 1 September, the new season begins and our new Social Members who joined or renewed in August will also be in the draw.

So, pink tag members… this could be your last chance to take home the jackpot before the new season!

If it isnt claimed this Friday the money will roll over to new season but only new members and members who have renewed will be in draw.

Come down, bring your friends, grab a drink, enjoy dinner and settle in for the draw.

Make plans with your mates and watch the AFL Finals on the big screens at the Yacht Club!

We’re opening the Club especially for the Finals, so you can enjoy the footy, the atmosphere and one of the best views of the Bay while you’re at it.

Members can sign in up to 5 guests, so round up your footy crew and make a night of it.

And of course, there’s Wharfie Time for the last quarter:
$10 pints + $7 house wine!

The bar will open 30 minutes before each game’s scheduled bounce.

Once the AFL officially releases the Finals schedule, we’ll set up an RSVP system to secure your spot. Spaces will be limited, so keep an eye out for the dates and booking details.

KNOW THE RULES – A REMINDER TO ALL GBYC MEMBERS

As we prepare for the new membership season, we would like to remind all Geographe Bay Yacht Club members, both Sailing and Social, of an important responsibility that comes with being a member of the Club.

As a condition of membership, all GBYC members, agree to be bound by the Club’s Constitution and By-Laws.

That means all members are expected to read, understand and abide by the current rules of the Club.

Whether you joined last month or have been a member for many years, it’s important to make sure you are familiar with the current versions.

We’ve put together a short article explaining why this is important and reminding all members to take the time to read the current Constitution and By-Laws.
