🥈 BRUCE CUP | SILVER MEDALLISTS 🖤💛

Our Bruce Cup campaign has come to an end, with Team WA finishing as Silver Medallists after going down 21–3 to a strong Queensland side in today’s final.

While Queensland were deserving champions, our players showed incredible courage, determination, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the week.

Even more impressively, this marks three consecutive silver medals in three years 🥈🥈🥈

A huge congratulations to our players, and thank you to the parents, coaches, managers, officials and supporters who made this week so special👏

BRUCE CUP UPDATE | TEAM WA 💛 🖤

It’s been a fantastic couple of days for Team WA at the 12&U National Tennis Championships in Brisbane🎾

The team kicked things off with a huge 21–3 win over Northern Territory, following a morning of team-building activities that brought everyone together and set the tone for the day.

Then came a hard-fought battle against Victoria, with WA showing incredible determination, resilience and sportsmanship to come away with a 14–10 victory 💪

Two big wins, plenty of fight and an awesome team spirit 💛 🖤

Registrations are now open for tennis clubs, associations, schools and coaches across the country to host a local AO 1 Point Slam powered by Haier and be in the running to win a $50,000 tennis grant!

Following almost 300 community events held across the country in 2025, Tennis Australia is encouraging even more clubs, associations, schools and coaches to get involved.

The AO 1 Point Slam will see players of all levels, ages and abilities compete in a fast-paced, one-point knockout format, all with the ultimate goal of claiming the $1 million winner-takes-all prize in January 2027.

A fantastic weekend for Team WA at the 2026 Australia Blind & Low Vision Tennis Championships, held at the National Tennis Centre in Melbourne👏

🏆 Benjamin Rowe was a finalist in the B1 Men’s Singles
🏆 Kaden Larney was a finalist in the B2 Women’s Singles

A huge congratulations to both Benjamin and Kaden on their outstanding performances! 💪

It was also great to see the wider WA team represented, with Bellinda Devine from Ace-IT Tennis South Mandurah, Carl from Blind Sports WA supporting Ben, and Kaden’s seeing eye dog Owen all playing an important part throughout the championships. 🐕‍🦺🎾

And a special mention to Bellinda’s daughter Eyla, who was also part of the event as a ball kid👏

🔥 BRUCE CUP | DAYS 1 & 2 🔥

What a start for our WA 12&U team at the Bruce Cup in Brisbane 💪

The team has battled hard across the opening two days, coming away with two impressive victories 🏆

Day 1: WA 13 – 11 South Australia
Day 2: WA 15 – 9 ACT

Both days featured incredibly tight matches, with our players showing determination, resilience and teamwork to get over the line when it mattered most.

Just as impressive has been the outstanding sportsmanship and camaraderie shown by our players and their opponents, making for two fantastic days of competition on and off the court 👏

A huge congratulations to the entire WA team. what a way to start the Bruce Cup 💛🖤
