🚀 ROAD TO STATES: Youth Lead Comp Prep
Got your sights set on the Queensland Youth Lead Climbing Championships but never lead climbed before?
This special 3-hour intensive session is designed specifically for young climbers with no prior lead climbing experience.
Led by experienced instructors Peter Deegan and Kyle Heuston-Connor, climbers will learn:
✅ Lead climbing safety
✅ Clipping techniques
✅ Knots and rope management
✅ Efficient movement
✅ Falling practice
✅ Competition-specific tips and strategies
Whether you’re already entered in Youth States or thinking about giving it a go, this is the perfect opportunity to build the skills, confidence and knowledge needed before competition day.

All equipment provided. Climbers are welcome to bring their own harness, shoes and chalk bag. Parents are welcome to stay and watch.

A familiar face long before we took over in 2023, Jackson stepped up as manager, ran a tight ship, and played a huge part in the growth of our gym and community.
