Congratulations to Meika Locke who has earned her place on the Australian team for the 2026 ISA World Junior Surfing Championship in Surf City, El Salvador.

This is a huge achievement but getting there takes more than just talent. Competing at the highest level comes with significant travel and campaign costs and Meika is running a raffle to help support her journey.

At Burleigh we’re proud to have been part of Meika Locke journey and we want to see one of our own chase her goals on the biggest stage.

2026 QLD Junior State Surfing Titles Grand Final.

Congratulations to Anna Huppatz, Under 18 Girls QLD State Champion.

A huge result for Anna and another strong showing from the Burleigh juniors.

Meika Locke finished 3rd in Under 18 Girls, bobbypatchy 3rd in Under 16 Boys and Kristy Sands equal 5th in Under 16 Boys.

To those who have qualified for the QLD team, the club is behind you heading into the Australian Titles.
