I have news.
Well I had news, but then had to pack up my life and move me and Pop across Queensland and that took up some mental space!
All because my intuition told me something wasn’t right, then showed me the breadcrumbs to return me to alignment.
I’ll share more if you’re interested - it’s been a fascinating journey!

Macrame on sale, all between $10-25 plus shipping (or pick up Burleigh Heads).
I’m having a clear out and these handmade pieces have been in storage too long. I spent hours on these and would like them to go to a good home.
DM if you’re interested in any of them!

Try this and watch what happens in just 40 seconds!
Smiling for 40 seconds relaxes your nervous system, neck, and jaw due to three overlapping physiological mechanics: the facial feedback hypothesis, tension release, and vagal nerve stimulation.
1) Facial Feedback Hypothesis
Your brain and body are deeply connected. When you hold a smile for an extended period, your facial muscles send signals to your brain confirming you are happy or at peace.
The brain doesn’t always distinguish between a genuine or forced smile.
This tricks your mind into reducing stress hormone (cortisol) levels while releasing feel-good neurotransmitters like dopamine, endorphins, and serotonin.
2) Vagal Nerve Stimulation
The muscles in your face, jaw, throat, and deep neck are neurologically wired to your vagus nerve, which is the main component of your parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) nervous system.
Chronic stress locks these muscles up, keeping you in fight-or-flight mode.
Holding a smile or stretching the jaw lengthens these muscles, sending a direct signal to the vagus nerve that it is safe to stand down.
3) Breaking the Clench Reflex
Because emotional stress typically manifests physically as an unconscious tightening of the jaw and neck, intentionally activating the facial muscles forces the jaw to unhinge and reset.
This release of muscular tension physically unbinds the nervous system’s stress response
I love this one as a quick reset and do it twice a day as well as when needed. I particularly like it in the car as I imagine freaking out other drivers as they see me in a eerie Joker-esque grin.
Did you try it? What happened for you? LMK in the comments!
These BlockBlueLight® have easily been one of the best purchases I’ve made in the past 18 months. They’ve been instrumental in reducing migraines, headaches, eye strain, and helped with the glare while driving.
They are also the purchase I get asked about the most, especially when I’m teaching at night.
If you’ve been thinking of supporting your sleep health, reducing your headache and migraine instances, or want to support your overall circadian health, these are so worthwhile.
And the good news? Block Blue Light have a sale on until 30 June with 25% off sitewide (they have red light panels, too, my next purchase).
Check out the link in my bio and the discount will be applied automatically at checkout.
Note: I am an affiliate so may get a commission which will not impact your costs whatsoever. I did a ton of research on the best glasses and landed on Block Blue Light because of the quality, and also that they are not butt-ugly specs that I would never wear. I wear these EVERY TIME I’m out in LED lights and they’ve been so helpful.
Have you worn or tried on blue blocking glasses? What was your experience?
Would you wear them if you haven’t?

One simple word has the power to change your state in seconds.
WOW.
Most of us are wired to scan for problems. It’s part of the brain’s survival system.
The Reticular Activating System (RAS) is constantly filtering information and deciding what deserves your attention.
If you’re focused on what’s wrong, what’s missing, or what isn’t working yet, your brain becomes very efficient at finding more of it.
But what happens when you consciously start looking for things that make you say wow?
Wow, that sunset is incredible.
Wow, I handled that conversation better than I would have six months ago.
Wow, that parking spot opened up at exactly the right time.
Wow, I can’t believe how many opportunities are showing up lately.
Wow, my coffee is just right today.
The word itself carries a sense of surprise, appreciation, curiosity, and possibility.
It shifts your attention away from lack and towards what’s already working.
The more you look for “wow” moments, the more your brain starts noticing them.
And when your brain notices more good things, life often starts to feel lighter, more abundant, and more supportive.
This isn’t about pretending challenges don’t exist. It’s about training your mind to see the full picture instead of only focusing on the problems.
Today, try this:
See if you can find five things that make you genuinely say “wow”.
They don’t need to be big.
A beautiful flower.
A kind text.
A great meal.
A moment of courage.
A synchronicity.
Then notice how you feel.
Because sometimes a better mindset doesn’t start with changing your life.
It starts with changing what you’re paying attention to.

I’m genuinely curious: when you offer someone help and they accept your offer, how does that make you feel:
Emotionally?
In your body?
Energetically?
In any other way?
